Jamie’s journey into the world of beauty began on the sidelines, braiding teammates’ hair before big games at just ten years old. What started as a childhood passion quickly became her signature craft. Throughout high school, she was the go-to stylist for everything from game-day spirit and cheer team transformations to elegant prom updos and the occasional wedding.
Following her graduation, Jamie turned her undeniable talent into a career by enrolling at The Salon Professional Academy in Rapid City. After refining her skills and spending years perfecting her craft in the heart of downtown Rapid City, Jamie felt a powerful pull back to her roots. Today, she is proud to bring her expertise and passion home to Sturgis, welcoming clients into her own revitalized and inviting space: Hue Avenue Salon.

Hi, I’m Jamie Munger! Born and raised right here in Sturgis, I’ve always seen the world through a creative lens. Whether I’m attending a local sip and paint, experimenting with bold makeup looks, or reimagining my own space through interior decor, my life is driven by a passion for art.
Growing up with six sisters and a brother, the role of 'family hairstylist' was practically written in my DNA. Today, I’ve turned that lifelong love for creating into my professional craft, treating every appointment as a fresh canvas to help you find your most confident hue.

While she loves a transformative look, she is equally passionate about lived-in, natural color and dimensional tones that offer a seamless grow-out. Above all, Jamie’s top priority is hair health; she is dedicated to ensuring every masterpiece she creates remains strong, vibrant, and full of life long after the appointment.

Alicia began her journey in the beauty industry right out of high school, guided by a passion for empowering women and a deep love for her craft. After graduating from The Salon Professional Academy, she has spent the past three years intentionally investing in advanced education, traveling for hands on classes, engaging in ongoing online training, and continually refining her skills.
Now settled into her salon home, Alicia remains committed to creating luxurious, low-maintenance hair that enhances each client’s natural beauty and leaves them feeling confident, radiant, and their best selves. -
After spending many years surrounded by strong, inspiring women through dance, Alicia developed a deep appreciation for makeup, hair, and fashion, an early passion that naturally evolved into the career she loves today. She fell in love with her high school sweetheart and values staying close to her family, who mean the world to her.
Outside of the salon, Alicia enjoys coffee dates, shopping trips, cozy movie nights at home, Pilates classes, and all things baking and cooking. Most of all, she treasures quality time with the people who matter most. -
Alicia specializes in all things blonding, with a passion for creating custom, tailored blondes that complement each client’s features and lifestyle. She has refined her expertise in lived-in color, seamlessly blended highlights, and effortless grow outs that feel natural and luxurious.
In addition to blonding, Alicia loves crafting rich, dimensional brunettes and low maintenance color that delivers maximum impact with minimal upkeep. A beautiful, wearable hair designed to look just as good weeks later as it does the day you leave the salon.

Brooke has been working at Hue Avenue Salon since graduating from beauty school in July 2025. Her interest in hairstyling began at a young age, growing up with a sister and spending plenty of time in the basement braiding, curling, and even experimenting with hair color. Those early experiences helped spark the passion that led her to pursue a career in the beauty industry.Brooke has always embraced her feminine side and loved keeping up with beauty—from having her nails done to styling her hair before anything else. Over time, that passion grew into a craft she is proud to share with her clients, helping them feel confident and beautiful every time they sit in her chair.

Brooke has lived in the Black Hills her entire life and grew up with one sister. She spent much of her childhood playing sports and staying active, which helped shape her energetic and motivated personality. Today, she still enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, whether that’s attending workout classes or going for a run. Outside of the salon, Brooke enjoys spending time relaxing by the pool or at the lake. Her family often visits Angostura Reservoir, where they enjoy fishing and wake surfing together. When she’s not behind the chair, you might find her making coffee at Fancy Coffee. She loves all things coffee and is always excited to try fun new drinks.
